Vegan Super Bowl Snacks Round Up 2013

Super Bowl XLVII is just a weekend away so it's time for a vegan recipe round up. Despite not watching many games this football season, I've somehow ended up creating a number of game day friendly foods in the recent months.  This round up is filled with vegetables, of course, but not a single one of these round up options is bland or boring.  Everyone is bound to love the snacks in this round up... and I know because I've served some of these foods to the pickiest of carnivores.

Spicy Cauliflower Buffalo Bites: Smother just about anything in hot sauce and it's amazing!

Cashew Cheese is always a hit! Takes a couple days to prepare between soaking and fermenting, so plan ahead to make this one.

People can't get enough of this creamy white bean spinach artichoke dip. Serve it in a sourdough bread bowl to show a little love to the 49ers.

Serve Jackfruit Carnitas on slider buns for a perfect snack sized sandwich.

And because I'm not biased towards either team playing, I'm throwing in a recipe from The Post Punk Kitchen for Chesapeake Tempeh Cakes to give a little representation for the Ravens.

(I'm a Cowboys fan so I haven't had reason to get overly excited about a Super Bowl in 20 years! Man, does that make me feel old.)

Have a great game day, everyone!
